Stalking Awareness Month

According to a CDC study, approximately one in six women and one in 19 men in the U.S. have been stalked at some point in their life.Stalking Awareness Month

Victims can suffer a number of health consequences, ranging from difficulty sleeping and frequent headaches to asthma, chronic pain, and diabetes.

The Stalking Resource Center of the National Center for Victims of Crime and the U.S. Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women offer a variety of resources to help you help prevent stalking in your neighborhood and community.

The White House also issued a Presidential Proclamation in support of National Stalking Awareness Month.
