Striving to Reduce Youth Violence Everywhere, also known as STRYVE, is a national initiative led by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to prevent youth violence before it starts. STRYVE Online provides direction at the national, state, and local levels about how to prevent youth violence with a public health approach, comprehensive plan, and prevention strategies that are based on the best available research evidence.

STRYVE has multiple activities that help increase public health leadership in preventing youth violence, promote the use of evidence-based prevention approaches, and achieve national reductions in youth violence. Information, tools, training, and other resources are made available to communities to help them better understand youth violence and plan prevention strategies that can work. STRYVE is also helping make connections between different organizations to raise awareness about the benefits and proven strategies to prevent youth violence.
